The Hit & Shit List - Part One

In the spirit of blogging about nothing in particular (while waiting for my next fix) I thought I’d go ahead and compile a few of my favorite blog moments and some of my spectacular fails. Sometimes looking back in the archives is not a good idea as you find all sorts of crap.
The ‘Why the F*** Not?’: Blood+ Tank awesomeness Fail
In episode eight Kai & Riku are ‘abandoned’ by Red Shield with a credit card which they are told is loaded with enough to buy a tank. Do they buy said tank? NO. Complete fail. By episode ten I knew my hopes that they’d get a tank were futile, no matter how much I willed it to be so.
The ‘Newt Stuffs Up, Everything Turns Out OK Anyway’: Honey & Clover Reblog
There was a major fail moment when I deleted a rather large chunk of entries sometime during my move from blogger to wordpress. However, it did give me a chance to go back and reblog a couple of episodes for some series. One of these was Honey & Clover. Personally I felt my reblog entries, while shorter, read a little better than my original attempt. So in a way it sort of worked out okay.
The ‘See, Sometimes I Can Actually Blog!!!’: Paradise Kiss
I’m pretty proud of some of my posts for this series. I actually managed to compile some coherent thoughts for a little while there. Yay for me! *cough* The final episode writeup is one of my faves.
The ‘Did I think it would get better? DENIAL!’: Cluster Edge
Why, for the love of all things vodka related, did I stick with this for seven whole episodes? I’m going to blame it on temporary lapse of sense and sanity. Sadly, I admit, I did watch past seven episodes. It didn’t get any better. I can never claim back those hours….
In part two I’m going to round up some of my favorite screencaps? What… I may actually blog more than twice this year!?! LIES!
No commentsVampire Knight: I am out from under *that* rock
I did say last year (lol like a couple of entries ago) that the only thing I could foresee inspiring a return to my former blogging glory would be an awesome vampire anime… I sort of half lied. There are other things that could get me going as well. But more on that at a later date. But back to the vampire anime thing… how the hell did I miss this!!!

Damn. I am so out of the loop. VERY MUCH SO. (I have been reading the manga though, and well… the drama!) Needless to say I’m currently on a bit of a downloading frenzy at the moment to get up to speed on the series.
Sometimes I really hate the rock I live under….

I am so bored. Months now, have been thinking of throwing myself back into something, but what? In the time since I abandoned regular blogging I have had new obsessions, which have sparked, faded, etcetera, and newer obsessions replace these. I even dabbled in the DARK ARTS OF MYSPACE… EWWW EMO PIC! (To be fair I have always looked like that for like at least 15 years - unless I forget to straighten my hair!) But something still stays with me… sometimes after I come home from work I kick off my heels and grab a glass of rose and complain to my fiancee about the lack of a proper ending to Trinity Blood, how much Red Garden really started to appeal to me after a few episodes, and he (and others) will generally mock my fangirlism as I rabidly push an anime-virgin my copy of FLCL like a freshly cooked batch of meth cookies.
I live in the past. Surely. Ahh the pure hot flame of my youth, how I miss you. Gag. Lol.

Random idea brainfart. I always thought it would be fun to round up some bloggers that have left the bloggin game recently (I can think of a few I’d wanna round up) and create a mutant super blog where we just randomly blog sarcastically/fangirlishly about anything and everything that grabs out attention. Of course regular updates would be a rare thing, but I think it’d be fun for the first six months that it actually works or something…
I’d commit like an hour or two to that sort of thing maybe once a week? Hah!
2 commentsI AM a FREAKING liar!
Hahaha, I so didn’t return to anime blogging, drama blogging, or any kind of blogging. Sadly while I been gone a few other anime bloggers I admire have also dropped off the scene. I hate to sound negative, but none of the recent shows hold ANY appeal to me. Even some of the recent drama series bore me.
Preciously going to LIVES and rocking out has become my new addiction along with quirky clothing.
It’s not that I don’t like anime or manga anymore, au contraire (which I can’t spell), I love it just as much as ever, unfortunately it’s all disappointing me a little bit at the moment. As soon as another kick ass gothic cool vampire series appears (or more Trinity Blood) I’ll be fangirling like it’s 2005!
